bAMBIPAN
AMBISONIC SURROUND PANNER PLUGINS FOR OSX/PLUGGO
These two VST plugins was made out need because of the lacking possibilities for surround-work in Ableton Live. Its creation was made possible by the ICST Ambisonics objects for Max/Msp. The system consists of two plugins, one panning module and one configurable receiving plugin. The bAMBIPAN plugin is inserted into audio tracks, and the receiving plugin is configured by the user to receive the correct signal from the panning matrix and sent out to the correct output via Live´s IO panel.
Several parameters is at hand, including trajectory recording and playback, snapshot store and recall with interpolation times. In a later version i hope to MIDIfy the snapshot handling for Performance use in Live.
Built with Max/Msp, requires Pluggo or Pluggo Runtime.
This is a very much a work in progress, and is not fully tested for bugs etc.
