The first works of Mobile Homes were commissioned outside the conventional black box theatre space where we would usually present our performances. We wanted a more dynamic and participatory relation to the public and for that purpose it was imminent for us to explore new locations and settings.
We named these first works for ”mappings” as they became a way for us to interfere and interact with an environment. The notion of mapping was a way to explore and test our emerging collective material. Through the confrontation with an environment, it geography and its present and past histories our personal material would gain in perspectives and depths.
