Installation for 7-12 tv or videomonitors and 5.1 surround sound. Duration about 15 min.

Each monitor shows an image of a young girl filmed at the age of 12 just before leaving childhood and entering adolecence. Most of the girls have a background of mixed nationality which adds to the generel feeling of transition and passage in the work.

The monitors are an important visual element that shows the girls as part of a group, but still entrapped alone on each her screen. We do not know in which time they belong. We can think of them as angels or creatures from the past or as representatives of a concret future; a possible beginning.

The work is inspired by the myth of Phyche as well as elements from ancient European fairytale.
